The GTA VW/Audi community.
This site is the public-facing companion to the GTA Volkswagen/Audi Buy, Sell, Trade Facebook group. We've been running that group since January 2014. Today it has 21,600 verified members spread across Southern Ontario and Quebec, with another 940 members in our sister Audi-only group and 635 members in our Discussion + Help group.
Why this site exists
Facebook groups are great for activity but terrible for memory. A listing from six months ago that exactly matches your search is buried under thousands of newer posts. A shop someone recommended in 2019 is impossible to find. The community knows things, but the knowledge doesn't compound.
This site is the searchable, indexable, community-owned version of all that. Every listing posted in our groups eventually shows up here. Every shop the community trusts has a page. Every recall worth knowing about gets documented. And it'll all still be here in ten years, regardless of what Facebook does with its product.

What we are
An independent Ontario VW and Audi enthusiast community. Run by enthusiasts. Funded by carefully chosen shop sponsors (who get listed on our Verified Vendors page) and by community-relevant affiliate links to parts stores. That's it.
Who runs this
The main Facebook group has five admins (Kyle and three others alongside myself, Alex Maxey) and four moderators. This website is run by me alone, with my admin co-signers' blessing on anything that touches the main group.

If you've had a great experience with a VW or Audi shop in Ontario that we haven't listed yet, send me the details. We vet every shop before adding them. We will not list a shop because they paid us to. Vetting is the entire reason this directory exists.

Why our community works
We've been doing this for twelve years. Our average member has been in the group for over four years. We approve 31% of join requests (most groups approve 80-90%). We require post approval on every listing. We delete posts without pricing, without pictures, without locations. We are the strictest VW/Audi group in Ontario because the community asked us to be.
The result: 37% of our members are active every month, against an industry norm of 10-20%. When we recommend something, people listen. That's not happenstance. That's the compounding return of twelve years of saying no to bad actors.
